00 Weekend Premium The role of the Certified Nursing Assistant in Short Term Rehabilitation is to provide rehabilitative and routine resident care in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Fellowship Community as directed by the Team Leader and Nurse Manager to assure that federal, state, and local regulations are met and the highest quality of resident care is maintained at all times.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / CREDENTIALSHigh School education or equivalent requiredCurrent Pennsylvania certification as a nursing assistant.
CNA experience preferredKnowledge of federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to communicate with persons who are visually and/or hearing impairedUnderstanding of the special needs/care requirements of the Geriatric Resident on a Short Term Rehab, including dementia careIntermediate computer skillsCertified in Basic Life Support.
