Assembly Technician
Sunbound Lighting Sunbound Lighting Whitehall Township, PA Whitehall Township, PA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $17 - $22 an hour $17 - $22 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Duties - Produce LED lights by assembling electrical and mechanical components into aluminum extrusions to create various types of finished lighting fixtures - Solder wire connectors to LED circuit boards and assemble entire lighting components - Perform electrical testing to ensure fixtures operate properly - Use hand tools and machinery to fabricate extrusion sizes as needed - Troubleshoot and repair assemblies as necessary - Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet standards - Package, ship and manage all logistics of customer orders in addition to managing shipping, receiving, and inventory.
Work with purchasing to assure all needed parts are in stock or ordered to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques preferred - Experience with soldering, mounting and assembly of mechanical parts - Familiarity with electronics preferred - Light mechanical knowledge and ability to use saws and hand tools for fabrication - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently Note:
