BASIC PURPOSE:
Performs various cleaning, upkeep and quality assurance checks, both proactively and reactively.
Perform duties necessary to maintain and enhance the living and day to day environments of everyone being supported.
Completes full cleaning of all locations and assists with improvements of all Person Directed Support, Inc.
, locations for inspections ready/home like environment.
Works as a team participant along with quality assurance to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the person, regulations, and Person Directed Supports, Inc.

Responsibilities:
Creates/promotes a culture centered on building self-directed lives with the people we support.
Demonstrates effective administration of assigned unites; complies with established administrative policies and duties within their division.
Displays principles of good time management and applies these principles in daily work performance.
Abides by established policies and procedures of the agency, County and State.
Evaluates and appropriately acts in emergency situations, assists as needed.
Notifies supervisor in an accurate and timely manner of areas of concern.
Proactively prepares and assists in ensuring all locations are homelike, safe, and regulatory capable.
Proactively and reactively performs all cleaning and upkeep functions of homes.
Assist in keeping the grounds and common area free of trash and debris.
Works closely with management and other maintenance staff in developing an integral team that effectively represents the quality and professionalism of Person Directed Supports, Inc.
Work within expense limits established.
Maintain inventory controls for effective operations.
Maintain a professional courteous manner.
Assure safety standards are used which comply with all agency, local, City, County, State and Federal guidelines and regulations.
Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
Drives motorized vehicles on or off property for Person Directed Supports, Inc.
Performs other duties as assigned by Person Directed Supports, Inc.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivelant and four years experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
or Associates degree and 2 years experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
